Blue-green under gold-brown earth - this genuine turquoise pendant carries one tall oval turquoise whose bright face runs with broad patches of tan and gold-brown matrix, hand-set in sterling silver inside a classic bezel ringed twice with twisted rope.
Two ropes do the framing here: a double rope surround circles the classic bezel in two twisted rings, and a rope bail rises above it, its wide polished face worked with a twisted rope braid. This pendant was made for Regul Silver, our own line here in Fort Worth, in the Western style its record names - a tall oval frame built to hold one blue-green stone and its earth-colored matrix.
Lay it next to a pendant sold already strung and the difference is the freedom it hands back. This one comes as the pendant alone, ready for the chain you already love - the one that sits at your length, in your weight - so the tall oval lands exactly where you wear your necklaces, not where a stock chain decides it should.
It wears like sky over dry country: the tall oval rests at the collarbone, bright blue-green at its heart and earth-toned at its edges, its double rope frame giving the stone a worked Western border. Rooted in the Southwest, radiant when its matrix catches the light, it settles denim, black, cream, and suede the moment it lands.
Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: solid sterling silver; stone turquoise, oval solitaire, blue-green with broad tan and gold-brown matrix patches across its face, as its photos show it; bezel classic; surround double rope; bail rope, a wide polished bail worked with a rope braid over a twisted rope loop; weight approximately 21 grams; price $300.00; stock number wtp22; stock 1, at Regul Boutique. No chain comes with it, so the price you see buys the pendant alone. No pendant measurement stands anywhere on its record, so none is stated here rather than guessed. On its mine the record speaks in two parts, stated exactly: its arriving title names the stone Sonoran turquoise, while its body, its tags, and its stock number name no mine at all, and its photos show a blue-green stone running with tan and gold-brown matrix - the mine naming on this piece stands as a question for the owner, so this page names the stone turquoise and no mine.
Turquoise keeps its color with gentle care: wipe the stone with a soft, dry cloth only, polish the silver parts separately with a soft cloth, and keep the piece dry and away from perfume, sprays, and cleaners. Said plainly, the honest part: the tan and gold-brown patches across the stone’s face are its own matrix, there in its photos for you to see, and the double rope surround and rope bail are worked by hand, so their marks are the maker’s, not flaws.
This pendant leaves our Fort Worth studio packed snug for the trip, with shipping figured at checkout. If it reaches you and is not right - the stone, the classic bezel, the bail - email eas@regulsilver.com within 30 days of delivery and we will take it back and make it right.
Its family keeps nearby shelves: the Pendants in Turquoise shelf gathers other genuine stone and silver pendants, and the Necklaces collection carries the wider sterling silver necklace story.
