The Light Remains — Acrylic Painting by Selena Angeles (Light in the Dark Collection)

Even as the sun slips behind the treeline, it leaves a trail of gold across the water just for you. From Selena Angeles’s Light in the Dark collection, this original acrylic is about the kind of hope that refuses to quit. One of a kind, framed, and glowing with quiet promise.

Artists have always worked this way: something is seen, something is felt, and then the brush moves. A portrait painter is inspired by a beautiful human figure; a landscape artist stands in a scene and draws it.

Selena was inspired by an image of the sun’s last gold trailing across the water because it resonated with her soul. The light that started it belongs to the world; the hope in it is hers.
