A cowboy hat small enough to wear at your throat, worked in sterling silver with nothing standing between you and the shape — this sterling silver cowboy hat pendant carries a high crown, a curved brim, and a clean silver shine that goes with everything you already own.
The hat is the whole story here: crown pinched and raised the way a real hat takes its crease, brim rolled at the edges, the bail worked into the crown so the piece hangs true on its chain. Regul Silver is our own line, made for the studio in Fort Worth, and this pendant is the silver itself doing the talking — no stone set into it, no color laid over it, just the form a western hat has carried for a hundred years, shrunk to pendant size and finished to wear every day.
Set it beside a stone-set hat pendant and the difference is honest: a stone leads with its color and asks the silver to hold it, while this hat leads with its shape and lets the silver carry the whole piece. Beside a plain chain worn alone the difference runs the other way — a chain is a line, and this pendant gives that line a place to land, a small hat with a point of view at the end of it.
It wears easy and it wears often: over a tee with denim it says western without a costume, over a blouse it stays clean and bright, and layered with a longer chain it holds its own at the center. Rooted and radiant is the feeling — a hat that never blows off, never needs reshaping, and is always already on.
Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: sterling silver, and sterling silver only — no stone stands on this piece; the chain line reads approximately 18 inches; the style reads western. It is sold by chain style: the Cuban Link chain (stock number SSP1872, one counted at our Regul Boutique location) and the Rolo Oval Cable Link chain (stock number SSP1873, counted at zero today under the record’s continue-selling policy, so it stays orderable). The record carries the piece as made to order. The record’s lines agree on what this piece is — its category, its type, its title, and its photos all read a necklace — and one line stands stated as it is: its inventory weight reads 0.1 ounces against no weight line in its body at all. The piece is ours — Regul Silver, Fort Worth.
Silver asks for gentle care: wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, and polish the silver gently when it dulls. Said honestly, the handmade part shows: small marks of the bench and slight turns of the brim stand in the metal, because a person shaped this hat — that is the maker’s hand in the piece, not a flaw in it. Keep it dry, and take it off for swimming and sprays.
Your necklace leaves Fort Worth packed snug in a small padded box, cushioned for the trip, with shipping figured at checkout. If it reaches you and is not right — the chain style you chose, the way the hat sits, the shine of it — write to eas@regulsilver.com within 30 days and we will take it back and make it right.
More of its family waits nearby: the Necklaces shelf holds its company in pendants and chains, and the Sterling Silver shelf carries the plain-silver pieces it stands among.
Come try it on in person at 1455 W Magnolia Ave, Suite 109, Fort Worth — we are open noon to six, Monday through Saturday — or write to eas@regulsilver.com and we will answer about this very hat.
