Four chains rest layered on the black bust in the first photo — heart links at the throat, round rolo links below, long oval anchor links under those, and one fine flat chain falling longest — and every one of them is a sterling silver chain from this one shelf, feather-light and ready to layer.
These chains come from Regul Silver, our own Fort Worth line, and the shelf is built for choosing: five styles, each worked in sterling silver 925. The heart chain links small open hearts end to end; the rolo rolls round links in an even rhythm; the handmade anchor and the ribbon anchor stretch the link long and oval; and the shiny flat chain lies smooth and bright, catching light along its flat links. The record names the line made to order, and it invites custom asks — a different style or a design of your own — by email, and we are glad to make the chain you pictured.
Set a chain like this beside a pendant necklace and the difference is the job it does. A pendant carries one centerpiece and asks its chain to disappear; these chains are the piece itself, worn alone for a clean line of silver or layered two and three deep when the day wants more. Beside a heavy curb chain the difference runs the other way: weight. These stay lightweight from the first link to the last, so a long day in one feels like nothing at the neck.
They wear the way good everyday silver should: the 16 inch shiny flat sits close at the throat, the 18 inch styles rest at the collarbone, and the 20 inch lengths fall a little lower, over a tee or under an open collar. Layer the heart over the rolo and the links play against each other — hearts softening rounds, rounds steadying hearts — rooted in the West and radiant in bright daylight.
Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: sterling silver 925; five styles — Heart, Rolo, Handmade anchor, and Ribbon anchor, each in 18 and 20 inches, and Shiny Flat in 16 inches; prices $41.00 at 18 inches, $46.00 at 20 inches, and $54.00 for the 16 inch Shiny Flat; stock numbers SSC1 through SSC9. Stock today stands at 1 — the 18 inch Heart, SSC1, at Regul Boutique — with the other eight variants at zero and made to order, as the record names the line. On two facts the record’s own lines disagree, stated exactly and never resolved by guess: its arriving text names only the 18 and 20 inch lengths while its variants carry the 16 inch Shiny Flat as well; and its arriving text reads “Weight will be Less than 5grams” while every variant’s inventory measurement reads 0 ounces, so no weight is claimed here. Its design references name three labels — Heart Chain, power link, and curb link — of which only the first matches a style name on its variants.
Sterling silver sets the care rules, and they are gentle ones: wipe each chain with a soft, dry cloth, keep it dry and away from perfume and sprays, and store the styles apart so the links do not rub. Said honestly, the true part: these are lightweight links, fine and small as the close photos show, and fine links ask for a gentle hand at the clasp — that is the trade for a chain that feels like nothing on the neck, not a flaw in the making.
From our Fort Worth studio your chain travels packed snug for the trip, shipping figured at checkout. If it reaches you and is not right — the style, the length, the lay of the links — email eas@regulsilver.com within 30 days of delivery and we will take it back and make it right.
More of the same family waits nearby: the Necklaces shelf holds this chain’s company in pendants, chains, and statement pieces, and the Sterling Silver collection carries the wider silver story.
Come see the links catch the light in person at 1455 W Magnolia Ave, Suite 109, Fort Worth — we are open noon to six, Monday through Saturday — or write to eas@regulsilver.com and we will answer about these very chains.
