White fire that shifts as you move — this handcrafted opalite ring sets a handmade, iridescent white opalite oval in sterling silver, its soft white surface breaking into green, orange, and pink sparks every time the light changes.

Armando Bahena makes our opalite pieces by hand, and this ring comes from his bench for Regul Silver. The handmade opalite is shaped and polished first — it is handmade, not glass — then seated in sterling silver; on many of these rings a rope-and-scallop surround frames the stone, and a split shank carries it. Because each one is made by hand, the setting style and the ring size may differ from the ring pictured; the color you choose is the color that ships.

Set it beside the other rings on the shelf and its difference shows fast. A plain sterling band gives you shine and nothing else. A clear stone gives you sparkle that stays on one note. Handmade opalite does something livelier: the color itself moves — quiet white at rest, then a flash of green or pink as your hand turns — so a single ring reads like several across one day.

It wears easy at approximately 4 to 5 grams, light on the hand through a long day. White is the color that goes everywhere: to work, to church, to a Saturday market, and out after dark with denim and boots. The split shank sits steady on the finger, and the smooth sterling frame keeps the stone as the first thing the room reads.

Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: sterling silver; stone handmade opalite, iridescent and handmade, not glass; bezel rope and scallop on the record’s design, band a split shank; weight approximately 4 to 5 grams. This listing’s GR1221 variant is White, and the same listing carries eleven more colors — Kaleidoscope, Red 1, Red 2, Light Blue, Deep Blue 1, Deep Blue 2, Lime Green, Deep Green, Magenta, Pink, and Orange. Its record names no single ring size, and it says plainly that style and size will vary, because each ring is handmade — so no size is promised here that the record does not carry. The piece is ours — Regul Silver, Fort Worth.

Opalite and silver both ask for gentle care: wipe the stone with a soft, dry cloth, polish the silver parts separately, and keep the ring dry, away from perfume, sprays, and water. Its true marks deserve plain words — handmade opalite tones may vary slightly from ring to ring, because a person made each stone, and sterling silver slowly softens in shine with wear and air; a polishing cloth brings the brightness back in a minute.

Shipping is calculated at checkout, and your ring travels out of Fort Worth in a small padded box, cushioned for the trip. And if it lands and the color or the fit is not right, send it back within 30 days — eas@regulsilver.com reaches us directly, and we will make it right.

More colors and bands wait in our rings collection, and this ring’s own family gathers in Opalite Jewelry.
