The bar lies level and calm in its first photo — a slim length of handmade opalite held in sterling silver, a twisted rope edge running around the bezel, the whole pendant hanging from a rope-style chain.

Every bar starts as handmade opalite, worked by hand until the stone holds its milky glow, then cut to the same slim bar shape and set by hand in solid sterling silver. Regul Silver is our own Fort Worth line, and this opalite bar pendant necklace stands on its opalite shelf: a classic bezel, a rope surround, and the stone doing the talking while the silver does the holding.

Set this necklace beside a faceted pendant and the difference is the surface it offers the light. A cut stone throws sparks back; this bar takes light in and returns it soft, the way moonlight comes off still water. Beside a silver bar carrying no stone at all, the difference runs the other way: color living inside the frame, white in one shade and light green in the other, quiet enough for every day and alive enough to be noticed across a table.

It wears the way a favorite shirt wears — on without thinking, right with nearly everything it meets. The bar rests flat at the collarbone and stays level when you move, its glow warming against denim, black, cream, and white cotton alike, rooted in the Southwest and radiant in late light, through a shop window or across a dinner table.

Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: solid sterling silver; stone handmade opalite, bar shape; bezel classic, with a rope surround; handcrafted; two shades on one listing — white, stock number 25LO1, and light green, stock number 25LO2 — each $66.00, the choice carried on its record under the name Chain Style, and its stock fields reading five of each shade at Regul Boutique. Stated exactly, the facts its record does not carry: no chain length, no bar measurements, and no maker’s name anywhere on the record; each variant’s inventory weight reads 0 pounds, so no weight is claimed here. One variant carries a barcode on the record — the light green — and the white carries none, and no barcode is invented for it.

Opalite asks for easy care: wipe the bar with a soft cloth, polish the silver surround on its own, and keep the necklace dry and away from perfume, sprays, and cleaners. The honest part, stated straight: the stone is handmade, so its glow shifts with the light and no two bars hold their color in exactly the same way — the white can read milky at noon and warm at dusk — and that shifting is the making showing through, the small true trade for a stone worked by hand.

From the Fort Worth studio where it was finished, this necklace ships packed snug for the trip, its shipping figured at checkout. If it reaches you and is not right — the shade, the bezel, the lay of the bar — email eas@regulsilver.com within 30 days of delivery and we will take it back and make it right.

More of its family waits nearby: the Opalite Jewelry shelf holds the rest of this store’s handmade opalite, and the Necklaces collection carries the wider necklace story in sterling silver.

Come see the bar glow in person at 1455 W Magnolia Ave, Suite 109, Fort Worth — we are open noon to six, Monday through Saturday — or write to eas@regulsilver.com and we will answer about this very necklace.
