Dark beads, worked by hand, strung in one long fall of silver — this navajo pearl bracelet carries round sterling silver beads with a deep oxidized finish, each one shaded from charcoal to worn pewter where the light catches its curve.

The bracelet is handmade to order for Regul Silver, our own Fort Worth line, and the dark finish is the point of it: every bead is formed in sterling silver, given its oxidized shading, and strung in a single strand that ends in a twisted rope toggle, the bar passing through its rope ring to close. Because yours is made when you order it, its beads are shaded for your strand, in the same charcoal-and-pewter family the photos show, with the small seams and shading shifts that hand work leaves behind.

Set it against a bright polished pearl strand and the difference is the whole argument. Polished beads throw the light back hard and ask for a dressed-up neckline to match; these oxidized beads hold the light low and smoky, so the strand sits as easy with a worn denim shirt as it does against black. Against plated fashion beads there is nothing to weigh: every bead here is sterling silver all the way through, and its heft in the hand says so before your eyes do.

It is the bracelet for the woman who wants silver with some road on it. It stacks without a fight beside a cuff or a watch, darkens a stack of bright bangles into something with a story, and carries a rodeo night as readily as a Tuesday. Rooted in the Southwest and radiant in a lower, smokier key, it does not shine across a room — it draws the eye that comes close.

Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: sterling silver; handmade round beads with an oxidized finish; a twisted rope toggle clasp, as its clasp photo shows; western style; made to order. It stands in four lengths, one variant each — 6 inch (SKU 996), 7 (SKU 997), 8 inch (SKU 998), and 9 inch (SKU 999) — each at $108.00, each counted at quantity 1. The record carries no weight and no bead size for this bracelet, so none is stated here. The piece is ours — Regul Silver, Fort Worth.

Sterling silver sets the care rules, and they are easy ones: wipe the beads with a soft, dry cloth, keep the strand dry, and store it apart so the beads do not rub bright against harder pieces — the oxidized shading lives on the surface, and hard rubbing or silver dips will lift it. Said plainly, the honest part: the shading is meant to vary. Bead to bead it runs darker and lighter, with fine seams where each bead was closed by hand, and that variation is the handmade mark, not a flaw to polish away.

Your bracelet travels from Fort Worth, packed snug for the trip, with shipping figured at checkout. If it reaches you and is not right — the length on your wrist, the depth of the shading, the sit of the toggle — write to eas@regulsilver.com within 30 days and we will take it back and make it right.

More for the wrist waits nearby: the Bracelets & Cuffs shelf holds this bracelet’s company, and the Sterling Silver collection carries the rest of the plain silver family.

Come hold it up to the light at 1455 W Magnolia Ave, Suite 109, Fort Worth — we are open noon to six, Monday through Saturday — or write to eas@regulsilver.com and we will answer about this very bracelet, with fresh photos if you want them.
