Three short links, then one long one — that counted beat is the figaro, and this figaro bracelet carries the rhythm around your wrist in warm gold, each oval link lying flat against the next so the pattern never loses its place.
This bracelet came to Fort Worth from the Veneto in northern Italy, where Chrysos S.p.A. builds the DESMOS line and where link work is a trade handed down bench to bench. A figaro looks easy until you try to make one behave: the short links have to match each other exactly, the long link has to stretch without thinning, and the whole run has to bend evenly all the way to the clasp. Mohammed, the house’s own man on this side of the ocean, carried this gold figaro into our studio, and its even count is why it earned a spot in our case.
Set it beside the other link styles in the case and its character shows fast. A mariner link is cut across its middle with a bar, like a tiny anchor chain. A paperclip link stretches into long open ovals with air between them. A barrel link puffs round and bold. The figaro does something quieter: it keeps time, three beats and a long note, over and over, and that steady count is what makes it the classic of the family.
Around the wrist it moves the way a good bracelet should — flat, easy, and bright when your hand turns in the light. It slides under a cuff without a fight, stacks kindly beside a watch, and still holds a table’s attention across a dinner when it rides alone. Gold this warm flatters denim and linen as happily as it flatters black.
Here is the piece with nothing dressed up: .925 sterling silver with 18K gold plate, made in Italy by DESMOS, worked in the figaro pattern of three short links followed by one long link. A square box clasp closes it — the neat fitting you can see at the top of its photograph — and every link is finished smooth so nothing snags on skin or sleeve.
Looking after it asks very little: wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth when it comes off, and keep it dry and apart from perfume, lotions, and shower steam. Its one honest limit deserves plain words: the gold you see is a plate laid over sterling silver, not gold all the way through, so spare it rough counters and hard edges and the warm color will stay true for years of wear.
At checkout, shipping is calculated; the bracelet is packed with care before it travels. Should it land in your hands and feel wrong for your wrist, you have 30 days to send it back — write to regulsilver@gmail.com and we will make the return easy and friendly.
More of its Italian family waits in the DESMOS collection, and more pieces for the wrist live in our bracelets and cuffs collection.
