Please Don’t Go — Acrylic Painting by Selena Angeles

There’s a heartbeat of stillness right before the rope flies — pure possibility hanging in the desert air. Selena Angeles bottled that wild, untethered feeling in this original one-of-a-kind acrylic painting. Framed and ready to hang, it’s a tender reminder to hold on to what you love.

Every painting begins with something that stopped the artist mid-breath. Portrait painters are inspired by a beautiful human figure; landscape artists look at a scene and draw what the land is saying.

Selena was inspired by an image of a rope hanging still in the desert air, a heartbeat before it flies, because it resonated with her soul — and she answered it in her own hand.
