Round link after round link, each one swollen at its middle and polished to a mirror — that full, gleaming run is the whole design of this barrel link bracelet: bold silver barrels in a bright rhodium finish, with real presence from the first link to the clasp.

It reached Fort Worth from the Veneto in northern Italy, the home ground of Chrysos S.p.A., the house behind DESMOS. Barrel work looks easy and is not. Every link has to swell to the same fullness, curve the same way, and sit flush against its neighbors, or the run turns lumpy and the shine breaks. Mohammed, who carries the DESMOS case to our studio, brought this silver barrel bracelet in with the season’s shipment, and the even roll of its links is what earned it a place in our case.

Lay it beside its shelf mates and its character is plain. A figaro keeps a counted rhythm, three short links and one long. A paperclip stretches into long open ovals with air between them. A station bracelet is mostly fine chain, broken now and then by a small round bead. This one gives the wrist a solid run of rounded barrels, link after link — the boldest silhouette of the group, and the one that holds its own with no layering help at all.

On the wrist it wears the way it looks: substantial, smooth, and bright every time your hand turns. The rounded links roll a little as you move, so the rhodium shine travels up and down the run instead of sitting still. It rides happily over a shirt cuff, stands up to a watch beside it, and pairs with denim as easily as with black. Worn alone it reads confident and clean — a bracelet that finishes a look all by itself.

The plain record for this piece: .925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish, made in Italy by DESMOS. Its links are the barrel form — short, rounded, and full at the middle — each one polished smooth and joined so the run bends evenly around the wrist. A lobster clasp closes it, the fitting you can see at the top of its photograph, and no edge on the piece is left sharp against skin or sleeve.

Care takes a minute and no more: wipe it with a soft, dry cloth when it comes off, and store it dry, away from perfume, lotion, and steamy bathrooms. One truth, said plainly: the bright finish is rhodium plated over sterling silver, a fine hard coat and not a solid metal all the way through, so keep it clear of rough stone, grit, and hard knocks and the shine will stay bright through years of steady wear.

Shipping is tallied at checkout, and the bracelet travels packed with care. If it reaches you and the weight or the fit is not right for your wrist, you have 30 days to send it back — write to regulsilver@gmail.com and we will make the return easy from start to finish.

The rest of its Italian family stands in the DESMOS collection, and our full run of wrist pieces lives in the bracelets and cuffs collection.

Try the roll of it on your own wrist at 1455 W Magnolia Ave Suite 109, Fort Worth — the case is open noon to six, Monday through Saturday. Questions before you come by? Write to regulsilver@gmail.com and a real person at the studio will check this bracelet in the case for you.
