Six stones stand in one long row down the finger — a genuine turquoise ring whose blue-green cabochons run in a single line, each one ringed in sterling silver rope and lit with its own mix of sky and earth.
Regul Silver is our own line here in Fort Worth, and this row ring is one of ours, made by hand. The six stones are chosen one at a time and seated in classic bezels with rope surrounds, teardrops closing each end of the row and ovals carrying its middle, above a spiral band whose rails wind around the finger. No two stones match, and none should: most run clear blue-green, while two carry warm golden-brown matrix like sunlight caught in the stone.
Lay it next to a solitaire and the contrast does the talking. One stone gives a ring one note; a row of six gives it a melody — the eye walks the line stone by stone and finds a new mix of blue, green, and earth at every stop. Against a stamped band that carries no stone at all, the comparison is short: here the color lives in genuine stone, held deep in bezels that protect every edge.
Worn, the long row lengthens the hand and reads from across a room — a tall, sure line on the finger — and at approximately 25 to 27 grams it has the honest weight of a piece made to be kept. It is size 10, ready for the hand it fits: dark denim, a white shirt, good boots, and this — rooted, radiant, and finished.
Here are its facts, exactly as its record carries them: sterling silver, handcrafted; six genuine Sonoran turquoise stones, each approximately 8 by 10.5 millimeters, set in one long row; classic bezels with rope surrounds; spiral band; ring size 10; approximately 25 to 27 grams; style western with an avant-garde edge. The piece is ours — Regul Silver, Fort Worth — and its standing is made to order.
Care for it gently and it will keep its color for years: a soft, dry cloth on the stones, the silver polished on its own, and the ring kept dry and clear of perfume, sprays, and water — acetone and baking soda never go near turquoise. Its honest marks are part of its truth — every stone carries its own matrix, the six differ in color and pattern because they are genuine, and the silver holds the small marks of the hands that made it.
