One tall row of genuine turquoise — four stones, round and oval alternating, green-blue faces veined with golden brown. Rope twists around every stone, and silver beads separate the settings, so the row reads like a ladder climbing the finger.

Its band opens at the back, stamped by hand at the ends, and adjusts a little to meet the finger. This ring stands in size 5 — one of ours, made by hand. They refuse to match, and the ring is better for it.
